On September 23, on the sidelines of the 80th anniversary session of the UN General Assembly, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel.

Issues of further expanding trade and economic cooperation were discussed. Specific projects for developing cooperation in trade, investment, innovation, transport, agriculture and other priority areas were reviewed.

Agreements were reached on maintaining close interagency contacts.
