At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in the city of Baku on a state visit.

In the capital’s airport named after Heydar Aliyev, the Head of our state was met by the first deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyubov and other officials. 

In honor of the distinguished guest the state flags of the two countries were raised and a guard of honor was lined up.

In according with the program, the second meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council and other high-level events will be held today.
